We've had open discussions about immigration, homelessness, period poverty, the current political climate, the BLM movement, and climate change in the past.

Not only do we educate the students of SSA, but we also take action. We previously collected signatures for a symbolic petition in support of a referendum on the AZ November ballot. The referendum was in favor of providing in-state tuition benefits to undocumented students. We gathered signatures to share with AZ representatives to show young people's support of immigration reform, especially policies that impact our students.

We've also held clothing drives for Saint Vincent de Paul, to help people experiencing homelessness and poverty in the small ways we can.
